Steven G. McLaren

A graduate of Aberdeen University,Steve was enrolled as a Solicitor in Scotland in November of 1983. He has been a Partner with Kippen Campbell since 1987. When Steve joined the firm he spent approximately two afternoons a week doing Court work on his own.

The firm now boasts four full-time Court and Employment Lawyers. Between 1989 and 1996 Steve was a Tutor in Civil Advocacy at the University of Dundee. In 1993 he was asked to convene a Law Society of Scotland Road Traffic Seminar at Stirling and subsequently convened similar seminars for the Law Society in February of 1995 and October of 1997.

Because of the large amount of employment business within Kippen Campbell, Steve spent more and more time involved in Employment Law work and in December of 1999 he became one of just over forty solicitors in Scotland accredited by the Law Society as a Specialist in Employment Law and now works exclusively in the area of Employment Law.

Outwith law Steve regularly turns out for the solicitors' five-a-side football team, attends Rodney Fitness Centre and has also experienced the excitement of bungee jumping and karaoke both in the UK and abroad. Steve is also an avid St. Johnstone F.C. fan and was formerly Secretary of St. Johnstone F.C. Business Club.
